The website conveys a sense of being in the room, people around you, music playing (without having blaring music coming out of your screen).
The background image is chosen randomly from a set of three images and the panel images rotate through a randomly selected set of 10-20 images.
Uses Drupal CMS so maintainer can easily add new images and update the week’s events.
